Hi everyone! I am back again; this time with a post entirely dedicated to this lip set by Huda Beauty.

This was a birthday gift from one of my best friends, in the shades - 'Bombshell + Ritzy.' I have been using this the past month and have completely fallen in love with it.

The colours in the set are beautiful - to be worn separately or together, they stay put all day. I tend to opt for a gloss or satin by Colourpop but the matte lipstick in this set exceeded my expectations. It has a vanilla-like set (my FAVE scent) and doesn't emphasise the wrinkles on my lips.

I must admit, the adorable packaging is what caught my eye. I'm a sucker for aesthetics and this is the perfect display piece. What I didn't anticipate was the size of the packaging - I thought it would be much bigger!!! Buuuuut I guess the silver lining is the portability, I can easily fit this into any handbag I own.

Here is the lip set on me:

The lip liner is very creamy and soft. The lip strobe has a gorgeous pearly finish which provides some moisture. The liquid lipstick is comfortable on and very long-lasting, it really doesn't feel like a liquid lip at all. I'm definitely investing in a larger size.

Hi everyone! I'm back again with a little review on a product I was totally blindsided by. (AND it's 50% off)

Usually this time of the year Kiko hold a massive sale - Limited Edition collections are normally heavily discounted. Which is pretty amazing because their packaging is always so luxe. Amongst other items, me and Mum picked up this Gold Waves Bronzer for her to use as a face powder. And let me tell you, we were pleasantly surprised by this understated beauty.

I had previously tried out Kiko bronzing powders from their main line in the past and always enjoyed them. But out of all the bronzers I tried from them, this one outperforms the rest. This gives the most natural sunkissed look which I hadn't really achieved by other bronzers. It revives my dull complexion and gives a great-looking effect. Seriously considering to buy a backup. (I NEVER do this) I have the shade '03' - 'Sienna Reflection.' 

The packaging is really elegant and sophisticated -  perfect as a display piece on your dressing table. It's also really huge - very economical 😋

Hi everyone! I am back this time with a highly requested review. Since I received this product, I have been flooded with messages about the performance of this product!

                                                                                F O R M U L A 

Let me just get this out of the way; because I know someone will ask me 😛 Surprisingly enough, I prefer this palette over Desert Dusk. I was definitely caught off guard by this 😲

There are both creams and mattes featured in this palette. All but 1 cream - 'Fling' and 1 matte -  'Risque' are lack lustre in comparison to all the other shades. The cream shadows are intensely pigmented without being glittery. They are a spongy/squishy-like texture best applied with the fingers. I don't recommend a brush. (However, I have seen some people using specific brushes to apply the creams - it's worth you-tubing) In addition, I would say some creams need a little warming up in the pan so they apply/swatch at full opacity.

The mattes are an absolute dream to work with,  minimal blending is required which is always great in my book 😉 But seriously, this formula is truly something extraordinary! The shadows stay put on my eyes all day (With + without) priming my eyelids. (A* Huda 😂)

As far as the price goes, it's steep I know. Therefore, I would only suggest it to people who do not own these shades in their collection. If there is one aspect of Huda's beauty products I can really vouch for, it's her shade selection. She really knows how to create unique shadows with distinct formula's extremely well. If you want to invest in something special for your makeup collection, then I would surely say go for this because this baby is my Achilles heel 😊

Quite awhile ago, GlamGlow kindly reached out to me wanting to send me a sample of one of their masks. I obviously said YES as I was already considering to purchase one of their masks soon after hearing so much about them. The delivery was super fast, the mask arrived within 3 - 4 days which of course made me very happy! 😄

Youth Mud Tingle Exfoliate Treatment

This is the mask that GlamGlow decided to send me. (I wonder if they were hinting something at me haha) What I adore about this product is that it is unisex which means - both men and women are able to use it. 

This is the description GlamGlow provide on their website:

Application

GlamGlow recommend applying a layer of the mask to fresh, clean skin. They make it aware that a tingling sensation will be felt soon after. Circular motions should carried out when removing the mask so that the face is exfoliated.  The mask should be used twice a week minimum. 

Results

Personally on my face this mask did not yield the best results. It took longer than 10 minutes to dry even though I made sure I applied as much needed for my face. It honestly felt like toothpaste for the skin. The mask did make my face feel refreshed, but after a minute I felt a strong burning sensation. I was tempted to take the mask off but I kept it on and the burning dulled down little after awhile. I am not sure if the burning indicated that the mask was working but it did feel uncomfortable so I am unlikely to purchase the full size. My face did not react badly to the mask - no breakouts, redness or skin damage. However, I would not recommend this mask to anyone who has sensitive or acne/breakout prone skin. I feel like the mask would cause breakouts to flare up? 

The formula is chunky with green plants inside. (Seaweed?! 🤣) I am not sure what purpose these provide - other than making me look like a sea creature haha 😂

I would recommend this mask to people who have an oily skin type (This was just ill-suited for my dry complexion) I saw no difference to my skin but it did feel tighter and refreshed.

Hi, Hello! I know, I know...I abandoned my blog but I am back this time for good 😊 This time, I am here to show you my 'Holy Grail' products which will always remain in my collection.

Eyes

The first two products I want to show you have been life-changing for me. And luckily they are also affordable. These are the Essence Superfine Eyeliner Pen (£2) + the Super Precise Eyeliner (£2.30). I have been using these liners in conjunction with each other for over a year now and will continue to repurchase them over + over. (Yes! They're that good 😍 )

I use the Superfine pen to line my eyes and use the Super Precise liner to create my wing. This is my technique to create a perfect wing and luckily using these amazing products help me achieve that goal. 

My favourite youtuber - Tati (GlamLifeGuru) also swears by Essence eyeliners. 

Face

For a natural glowy base, I love using the L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Primer (£10.99) to create the illusion of an inner glow for my face. I would recommend this product for anyone to use, one of my friends has an oily skin type and she actually suggested for me (I have DRY skin) to try this out. 

To perfect my skin tone and bring back colour to my face, I use the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Foundation (£10.99) in the shade 140 (Golden Beige) I have always preferred using a slightly darker foundation for a healthier look to my face. This foundation does oxidise, so I would suggest purchasing a lighter shade. If you like a natural, buildable and medium coverage finish foundation then this is for you. I usually customise the coverage depending if I want a 'full beat' 😋 or if I'm in a natural mood. 

Lips

The final product is the Dose of Colors lipstick (16$) in the shade 'More Creamer Please.' This was part of a collaboration with Desi Perkins + Katy (Lustrelux) Fortunately, this lipstick along with a few others are still available on the website. I really urge everyone to try at least one product from this range because everything was BOMB.  🎇 

On the DOC website it is describe as a 'Deeper nude with brown/peach undertone. ' On me, this definitely runs peachy so I like to use on the centre of my lips to create an ombre effect.

If you love a creamy lipstick with a satin finish then this lipstick fits the bill. I personally don't like using traditional lipsticks that are fully matte so when I tried this it was perfect. This is for sure the best lipstick formula I have ever tried - YOU NEED IT! If you want me to swatch this then please DM me on Instagram + I'll gladly send you a picture!
