Hi everyone! I am back this time with a highly requested review. Since I received this product, I have been flooded with messages about the performance of this product!
F O R M U L A
Let me just get this out of the way; because I know someone will ask me 😛 Surprisingly enough, I prefer this palette over Desert Dusk. I was definitely caught off guard by this 😲
There are both creams and mattes featured in this palette. All but 1 cream - 'Fling' and 1 matte - 'Risque' are lack lustre in comparison to all the other shades. The cream shadows are intensely pigmented without being glittery. They are a spongy/squishy-like texture best applied with the fingers. I don't recommend a brush. (However, I have seen some people using specific brushes to apply the creams - it's worth you-tubing) In addition, I would say some creams need a little warming up in the pan so they apply/swatch at full opacity.
The mattes are an absolute dream to work with, minimal blending is required which is always great in my book 😉 But seriously, this formula is truly something extraordinary! The shadows stay put on my eyes all day (With + without) priming my eyelids. (A* Huda 😂)
P R I C I N G
As far as the price goes, it's steep I know. Therefore, I would only suggest it to people who do not own these shades in their collection. If there is one aspect of Huda's beauty products I can really vouch for, it's her shade selection. She really knows how to create unique shadows with distinct formula's extremely well. If you want to invest in something special for your makeup collection, then I would surely say go for this because this baby is my Achilles heel 😊
